Maxxis has added the NBA's New York Knicks and MLB's Baltimore Orioles to its 2012 sponsorship program.
During Knicks home games, Maxxis signage appears courtside for 30 seconds of TV coverage on an LED board at Madison Square Garden, reaching 20,000 spectators in the arena and millions of fans watching at home, the tiremaker said. The Maxxis logo also appears on the GardenVision Jumbotron and LED ribbon boards during the Road Ahead, which promotes the team’s upcoming schedule. Maxxis also sponsored a game night giveaway, giving attendees a poster that featured Jeremy Lin, as well as Maxxis and Knicks branding.
At Orioles home games, the company will have signage behind home plate. The Orioles join the New York Yankees Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals on Maxxis’ roster of sponsored MLB teams.
