The latest installment of Yokohama Tire Corp.’s consumer education-focused “Tire Tips” video series features an updated version of how to read a tire’s sidewall.
The video, posted on the company’s YouTube page, is the seventh edition in the series that began in 2010.
“Understanding the information on the sidewall of a tire is very important for selecting the appropriate replacement tire,” said Fred Koplin, Yokohama director of marketing communications. “However, many consumers are not familiar with what the sidewall markings mean. By explaining them, the video educates viewers so they can more confidently make informed tire purchases.”
Koplin said future Tire Tips videos will continue to provide consumers with suggestions on ways to get the most out of their tires.
